Who is BrewBuddy?

BrewBuddy began in 2017 with a small team of engineers, a passion for beer, a love of technology and a vision to revolutionize the brewing industry. Together we created our first smart fermenter! The Buddy can alter temperatures remotely with our user-friendly app, but BrewBuddy is also about creating a community for like-minded homebrewers.

Over the years, we gained support and insight from our partners Innovation Norway, Austmann and Brewshop.no (one of the largest retailers of homebrewing equipment in the Nordics), who helped aid in the R&D process and made the Buddy what it is today.

The Buddy

Brew all your favorites with The Buddy, BrewBuddy’s new smart fermenter. Every Buddy comes with an individual Wi-Fi controller so you can control the temperature and monitor the whole process on the go, straight from your mobile phone! It is a fully integrated unit, for use with a standard 30L fermenting bucket.

With an extensive temperature range from 5 C° to 35 C° depending on the ambient temperature, the Buddy can both cool and heat your brew, up to 120 watts, at the touch of a button. The Buddy heats and cools from the outside of the bucket, for a good sanitary process. So, whether you fancy creating a Lager, Stout or a brew of your own making, the Buddy’s got your covered.

Go one step further and create your own Fermentation Profile with the BrewBuddy app, share your favorite recipes and form a brew team with your fellow brewers!
